Prolines Match Racing Concludes

The Prolines Match Racing League came to a conclusion this weekend with Luke Finnegan and Ollie Vivien defeating Barry and Natalie McConnell in a hotly contested final.
Well done to the lads and thank you to all who competed. Further match racing will take place in the near future.
Prolines Match Racing Finals – Saturday July 31st

The prize giving for Prolines match racing league is this Saturday, July 31st at 5:30pm. There will be a free drink, and burger (Courtesy of Ger Breen) for all competitors, plus free entry into a draw for Musto sailing gear (Courtesy of Prolines)
Come along to support the finalists. If you’d like to watch the racing spectator boats will be out from 11:00am.

Visiting Photographer

On Thursday the 29th of July a professional photographer will visit the club to follow the cruiser racing and take photographs.
Should any skipper wish to purchase a photo, he will be returning on August 5th to exhibit the shots.

Cruiser Racing for the Annual Regatta

Annual regatta
August 1st and 2nd sees the return of the WHSC annual regatta. Boats of all shapes and sizes are invited to join in the racing over two days for the Bausch and Lomb trophies.
Racing will consist of Class 1 raced under IRC & ECHO, and a Whitesails class raced under ECHO.
There will be two races per day chosen on the day from a selection of Windward Leeward, Olympic, and Slalom. More info will be posted here as it becomes available.
Visiting yachts are welcome for a fee of €50.

Match Racing Continues

Following the success of the first match racing event earlier this month the competition is set to get a bit hotter. Starting this weekend (June 26th) we’ll be running a match racing league for the Prolines trophy.

Club Members in the Round Ireland Yacht Race

Match Racing Event

The Topaz Omega
Sign up now for the match racing on June 12/13. We’re looking for 12 teams of two people to compete in a match racing event.
The competition will consist of knock-out rounds on Saturday the 12th with a final on Sunday the 13th. The races will be run using the clubs Topaz Omega 2-man dinghys. Don’t miss this great chance to get out on the water in these fun boats for some friendly competition.
We can also help pair you up with a team mate if you want to come along by yourself. All levels of experience are welcome.
