Since Saturday afternoon our own yacht Fulmar Fever has been racing in the Round Ireland Race.
A race of over 700 miles with the course “keep all the islands of Ireland to your starboard side.
Whilst on paper Fulmar Fever is one of the slowest boats she can under the handicap system still compete with the fastest boats.
The race started on Saturday in Wicklow and at this moment most boats including Fulmar Fever are on the North West of Ireland.
A true test for the crew to battle for 5-6 days and in this race they have had it all . light winds , 40 knots of wind and the unusual situation of a Northerly wind on the West Coast.
We wish Robert and his crew well. They are doing a sterling job,
